The Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 is a premium all-in-one streaming DAC and preamplifier designed to be the digital heart of a high-end hi-fi system. Its precision aluminum enclosure houses dual ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chips, a fully balanced analog signal path, twin femtosecond clocks, and a quiet linear power supply, all working together to produce detailed, low-distortion, natural-sounding audio. A vibrant 6-inch touchscreen provides intuitive control and album artwork, while an internal M.2 NVMe SSD slot allows users to install up to 8TB of storage for a local music library.

Streaming versatility is one of the DMP-A6’s standout qualities. It offers built-in support for TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Deezer, Internet Radio, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, AirPlay, and Roon Ready certification, plus compatibility with network-attached storage through SMB, NFS, WebDAV, Plex, and Emby. The companion Eversolo app rounds things out with easy remote operation from iOS or Android devices. Regardless of whether music is streamed from the cloud or pulled from local storage, the unit is engineered to handle nearly any modern digital audio source with ease.

On the connectivity front, the DMP-A6 features balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, optical and coaxial digital I/O, USB audio and USB DAC modes, Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and HDMI ARC for pulling in TV sound are all included. This second-generation model builds meaningfully on the original, adding an upgraded linear power supply, HDMI ARC support, Wake-on-LAN, a 12V trigger output for tying into a larger system, a customizable RGB volume knob, and additional internal circuit refinements.

Powering the experience is EOS, Eversolo’s Android-based Operating System, purpose-built for high-resolution audio playback. Its fast, intuitive interface makes it easy to browse local files and streaming services, while bypassing Android’s usual built in Sample Rate Conversion (SRC) limitations. The Eversolo EVC (Eversolo Volume Control) Output Engine uses a unique volume adjustment algorithm to precisely eliminate errors at different gain levels, ensuring that while adjusting the volume, the signal shape remains unchanged, thus providing the back-end DAC with more complete audio information.

Gen 2 Upgrades:
Dual ultra-low phase noise femtosecond clocks: Dedicated audio clocks significantly reduce digital jitter, resulting in improved timing accuracy, cleaner transients, and more precise imaging.
OPA1612 operational amplifier array: Replaces the standard analog output stage with premium Texas Instruments OPA1612 op-amps, offering exceptionally low noise (1.1 nV/√Hz) and ultra-low distortion (0.000015% at 1 kHz) for greater transparency and dynamic range.
Refined analog output stage: The upgraded clocking and op-amps work together to produce a more detailed, open, and natural presentation, particularly through the balanced XLR outputs.
