Vibration Resistance Design
The turntable has a three-layered construction with a rigidly combined brass and aluminium die-cast platter. Multi-Stage Silent Power Supply
This technology combines a noise detection device with an error amplifier. It detects residual noise in the power supply and applies an inverse phase current to remove noise components. It removes low frequency noise more effectively than a regulator to ensure a more ideal power supply.

Tonearm Achieving High InitialMotion Sensitivity
The tonearm, a crucial component for precise reading, tracks the record’s rotation. Inherited from Technics, it employs a lightweight, rigid aluminum pipe in the traditional static-balance universal S-shape. The original Linton debuted in 1965 and the line continued in various iterations until the end of the 1970s. It was a classic model of its time, viewed as a serious hi-fi speaker but also relatively affordable. Its cabinet was substantial, big enough to hold three drive units including a good-sized bass unit, yet not overly unwieldy by the standards of the day.

The new Linton has a clear family resemblance. It, too, is a three-way standmount model – a rarity in the modern era – retaining similar proportions to the classic Linton models. Its wood-veneered cabinet has a vintage look, yet the standard of finish is distinctly contemporary.

Retro style, timeless musicality

The Linton makes use of its wide ba?e by incorporating a large (by modern standards) bass driver with a 200mm Kevlar cone, mounted on a rigid, die-cast chassis. Above this sits a 135mm midrange driver, also sporting a woven Kevlar cone and housed within its own internal enclosure. Finally, a 25mm fabric-dome tweeter with a high-?ux ferrite magnet handles high frequencies.

The original Linton incarnations of the 1960s and 1970s were well known for their rich and natural sound quality; the new model retains these attributes but upgrades the performance in every department. Its bass is deep and well-de?ned, its midrange clear and open, with free-breathing dynamics and an expansive scale that brings music to life. It is a sound you can dive into and lose yourself in, as you listen to album after album; a nostalgic nod to the past elevated to a level ?t for the future.

In keeping with a design intended to be treasured, the new Linton sports hand-matched wood veneers and optional matching stands with a similarly classic style. Inverted Geometry Drive Design

Mission’s classic IDG (Inverted Driver Geometry) driver format positions the high frequency below the bass / midrange driver meaning the length of path is equalised so the sound waves coincide at the listener’s head height. A proprietary principle that improves ‘time alignment’ and thus transient performance in Mission speakers.

Also included is a matching rechargeable remote. Bluetooth connectivity means that aiming is not required, so you can relax and fully control R610 from afar.

Yamaha TT-S303 Turntable is the first deck in 30 years from Yamaha. The TT-S303 record player is a belt drive turntable with a switchable phono and line output in a beautiful black Hi-Fi design. In true Yamaha fashion, the TT-S303 doesn’t just look amazing but sounds the part too.

The record player has a phono EQ amplifier (phono preamp), so you have the option of connecting to a line input on an amp without a phono stage, or even to active speakers! Alternatively, if you want to utilise the phono stage of your amplifier, switch the TT-S303 to phono output mode for the perfect pairing with your favourite amplifier.

An internal lithium polymer rechargeable battery powers the headphones, giving users approximately 25 hours of continuous Bluetooth and ANC use (1,000 hours on standby) on a full charge. The headphones come with a 30 cm (1′) USB charging cable and a protective pouch.
