As typical of Rotel amplifiers, the RA-1572’s circuitry draws on a high capacity power supply based on a Rotel custom designed and in-house manufactured oversized toroidal transformer. In addition to providing an abundance of voltage and current for all operating stages, the transformer’s toroidal shape helps prevent stray radiation patterns from corrupting audio signals as they pass through adjacent circuit stages.

Subsequent power supply segments built with tight-tolerance parts including T-Network capacitors provide the exact voltage and current requirements to ensure stress-free signal reproduction.

The RA-1572’s input section is substantially more flexible than that found in most integrated amplifiers. In recognition of the predominance of digital sources available today, the RA-1572 has a built-in state of the art 32-bit/768kHz AKM digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) and analogue stages of the highest quality. The DAC and surrounding circuitry supports a vast array of source inputs including DSD capable PC-USB (32-bit/384kHz). A front panel USB input is provided for easy connection of a wide variety of music storage devices including Apple iPods, iPhones, and iPads. The Bluetooth input supports aptX for superior performance with compatible devices. In addition, two each coaxial (RCA) and optical (TOSlink) inputs provide easy connections for LPCM music sources including popular streaming devices with up to 24-bit word lengths sampled at 192 kHz. Importantly, it is possible to fix the level and set an auto-on option with digital inputs for use with devices that provide their own volume control for convenient “hands-off” use. Analogue inputs include a pair of balanced XLR connectors in addition to conventional RCA jacks.

The Class AB output stage uses discrete devices to ensure precise reproduction of all signals regardless of origin with virtually any loudspeaker. The power output, conservatively rated at a robust 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms, is substantial as it is a continuous “both channels driven simultaneously” rating fully in keeping with real-world requirements and Rotel’s tradition of providing extraordinary value. A mono subwoofer output is also provided.

User conveniences include two 12-volt triggers to control on/off operation of other components, a highly visible VFD display for set-up, internet-based software updates, as well as RS232 and IP control capabilities.

Built around an in-house manufactured, high current, Rotel-crafted toroidal power transformer, the A8 delivers a commanding 40 Watts per channel of Class A/B power into 4 ohms. The high efficiency output drive transistors ensure deep bass energy is controlled with ultimate precision while comfortably maintaining composure at all listening levels.

Connections

The A8 features three line-level RCA inputs connecting your favorite analogue sources complemented by a Moving Magnet compatible Phono Stage to spin classic vinyl albums. For private listening, a front panel 1/8” headphone jack is also included.

The A11 Tribute is a Class AB 50W (8 ohms) Integrated Amplifier developed in cooperation with the audio engineering legend Ken Ishiwata as a Tribute to his legacy spanning over 40 years in the industry.

The collaboration between Ken and Rotel’s own engineering design teams delivered on the promise of an even higher level of performance of the extremely successful and popular award-winning A11. Upgraded components and meticulous tuning of all critical circuits deliver a richer, more expressive, and true-to-life experience from all of the support source inputs including apt-X and AAC wireless Bluetooth, array of 4 RCA analog inputs and a Moving Magnet Phono Stage for vinyl fans.

Specially selected improved components were chosen to offer higher performance throughout the signal path. In the amplifier stage, all 10 capacitors and two resistors in the signal path were changed.

For the pre-amp, six capacitors were upgraded, representing over 50% of the components in the signal path. All six capacitors in the volume stage were also upgraded.

Custom damping materials were added to the A11’s mechanical chassis to reduce ringing and further isolate/insulate and dampen any vibrations within the product.

The front panel graphic display and IR remote ensure effortless control of the audio driven by a Rotel in-house manufactured oversized toroidal transformer. The resulting acoustic performance speaks for itself under all loading conditions with even the most difficult speaker loads.

Constructed around a linear power supply featuring a massive Rotel-built toroidal power transformer, the A10MKII delivers an authoritative 50 Watts per channel of Class A/B power into 8 ohms, and even higher into more challenging loudspeakers.

All analog sources are welcome, with three line-level RCA inputs, and a Moving Magnet compatible Phono stage provided for vinyl lovers. An 1/8” headphone jack with dedicated headphone amplifier circuit is provided on the front panel for private listening sessions.

An intuitive front panel layout includes rotary Bass, Treble, and Balance controls making the A10MKII a joy to use up close, while the included IR remote control, and a motorised analog volume controller extend ease of use to the listening seat.

The CD11MKII CD Player furthers Rotel’s 30+ year legacy of delivering high performance, high value CD players. The player’s heavy steel chassis supports a proprietary Rotel disc transport exclusively for the playback of compact discs. The CD11MKII’s smooth, tray-loading mechanism, precise laser pickup and silent running motor controller ensures seamless, worry-free playback of your CD collection. Digital to Analog conversion is handled by a premium Texas Instruments PCM5102A 32-bit/384kHz DAC feeding custom-tuned digital low pass filter circuits. This sound-first design renders music on a large, open sound stage with exceptional details, precision, and finesse.

A linear power supply provides isolated outputs to the CD motor control circuit and critical audio circuits reducing noise and distortion presenting even the smallest of details from your CD collection. Intuitive CD control functions on the front panel and included remote control ensure simple operation. The front panel graphic display shows playback status and disc meta data information including the title and artist.

The digital coaxial output allows the CD11MKII to be utilized as a Disc Transport. A rear panel 12V trigger input and RS232 connector allows seamless integration into even the most complex systems.
